Hi there I saw your lego house on the home page and came to see if there was more and I was surprised to find the awesome combination of bass and legos. I wasn't expecting that. So are you a bassist? That picture of your cousin's rig is real nice. I drooled:icondroolplz: over it a bit. Check out my profile if you'd like. I work with bionicle, but hey, they still count as legos. Anyways you've got some nice pictures of some nice basses.

Most of my pics was assignments for my photo class.

Thanks! No, my cousin is the bassist. I am pretty much his roadie when he gets his band together. I am also the head roadie for a local band called Cathercist "myspace.com/cathercist". I have always liked legos lol.

Ah I see, well he has a nice rig. If I were to be one of your photo class assignments It would have to be on green, with envy. I've been building with legos since I was two years old and I'm 21 now. So you're cousin is trying to put a band together, I'm attempting to do the same thing, but where I'm from there isn't much of a music scene, so its really hard. I'm listening to Cathorcist. I'll get back to you on that, I'm just on the first song. So far its okay, I think the strongest points are the drums and vocals. Metal isn't exactly my cup of tea. I like some metal, but I'm very selective about it. This is is pretty good though. I could see myself listening to this if I was in the mood for something heavier than my normal brand of hard. I'll add them to my friends list.

Surprisingly, South Mississippi has a good music scene,3 Doors Down and Atomship are from here. Atomship was sign to wind-up records, and has a gold record for the punisher soundtrack. The cool part is I know the guy who wrote the songs. About the songs on cathercist's myspace is that those are old recordings with old members.
:icon3rdeye88:
That's good for you guys. I live in stockton CA, and the music scene here is horrible. All there is is a few places that do jam nights, and they aren't really good for "Modern rock" music, their geard more for stuff like classic rock or like folk music. There are better places to play out of town, but unless there's good enough transportation that we can take ourselves and all our gear it can't be done. So far any of the bands I've been in that was the thing that kept us from playing out much.

Even for old recordings or members it sounded good. Does the band sound way different now?
